About the engine:

We were impressed by the fast sporty handleing of the new 2005 2006 911. The turbo engine has the flat-six configuration as before, offering fast cylinder charging and perfomance balance with optimum torque.

The crankcase is divided vertically allowing the crankshaft to run in 8 main bearings. The pistons are forged aluminium pistons cooled by an oil jet system. Nikasil coated liners increase the longevity of the pistons.

Porsche's Stability Management (PSM) - automatic control system stabilizes the 911 Turbo when pushing the car to top performance levels. This system uses electronic sensors to determine speed, direction, velocity and lateral Gforces. Than the PSM uses these values to calculate the actual direction of travel. If the car oversteers the PSM applies braking to individual wheels to bring the car back into line. This feature seemed to work great when pulling into a turn to fast.

Our final conclustion, the Porsche 911 Turbo is an awsome car to drive and even better to own (if you can afford the high price).
