Porsche's Motronic ME7.8 electronic engine management system offers optimum engine performance under every driving condition. The system manages intake air pressure, the system controls the electronic throttle across the entire rev range.

We also liked the 911 GT2's transmission lubrication system and oil/coolant heat exchanger. This configuration is designed to maintain optimum temperatures in the gearbox even during the toughest use.

For safety the 911GT2 features high-tensile boron steel reinforcements in each door, side airbags and energy-absorbing door panels.
