The 911 Coupe features a wide
range of safety components developed for the road, and tested in the
toughest competition use. The 911 is capable of a level of punishment
rarely seen on the road.
Breaking
On all Porsche 911 models
the front and rear discs are cross drilled to improve braking in the
rain. The brakes respond faster because the water vapour generated under
braking can be released more efficiently. The discs are also internally
vented for better heat dispersal.
The 4 piston aluminium fixed
caliper design features a unique monobloc construction developed and
patented by Porsche for motorsport use. It's state of the art in Formula
One, and standard on the Porsche 911.
The 911 Coupe is a comfortable
ride. The seats hold you in place when taking those sharp turns at high
speeds. We liked the instrament pannel which is easy to see and large
enough so you don't have to stare at it.
In a nutshell we like the
911's power and sleek design.
