I wasn't surprised when I found out Saturn was going to get into the SUV market. It was bound to happen, even Porsche took a big risk for 2005 2006 and introduced it's own version of an SUV.
It's a safe SUV ninety percent of this structure is high-strength steel to help protect while keeping the center of gravity low. Front and rear crumple zones absorb crash energy. Galvanized steel is used in rust-prone areas.
The Ecotec 2.2-liter, four-cylinder engine delivers 143 horsepower and 152 foot-pounds of torque. It has dual-overhead-cams, four valves per cylinder and matched with a five-speed manual transmission.
The 2005 2006 VUE has a four-wheel independent suspension giving it a car like ride and predictable handling. A a four-link rear suspension provides a ride superior to truck based SUVs.
